It wasn't far for 3 of our archers to travel for the Double York Competition at Southampton Archery Club at the weekend. Vicky won the Compound Hereford rounds on Saturday and Sunday taking overall 1st place. Rachael was overall 3rd in the same category (2nd on Saturday, 3rd On Sunday). Stuart was 2nd in the Compound York category just being pipped for overall 1st place by 1 point! (He was 1st on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday.) They struck Gold in the team event - an awesome trio 🎉 Great results considering the weather was a challenge, particularly on Sunday with the wind and heavy downpours. As usual they did the Club proud and we appreciate their talent and commitment.
