The Club held the Sherwood Memorial Shoot on Sunday which is dedicated to celebrating the lives of archers that are gone but not forgotten. Before the competition began whistling arrows were shot to honour our lost archers, a fitting remembrance.

We welcomed 75 archers from many clubs to our field on a lovely sunny day to enjoy a relaxed shoot. There were medals galore for our members and it was a first competition for quite a few of them. Our Juniors acquitted themselves well but mostly we hope they had a fun day while introducing them to competitions. Our stellar catering team provided fantastic food all day beginning with bacon butties at 8.00a.m. and endless delicious cakes.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with preparations, set up, helped on the day with the many things that go into making the tournament a success. We hope everyone enjoyed the day 😊
