Our Silver Archers (over a certain age!) were well represented at this year's Merdon Arrow competition. It was quite eventful as Duncan broke his compound bow on the first shot and was lent a beginner's recurve bow. Graham's sight came loose and Pete shot the whole morning session with his limbs on upside down - oops!! Despite all this Graham won a Silver Medal in the Gents Compound and also best gold. He also achieved a personal best ....... in the raffle winning 5 prizes 🤣 Duncan was also awarded the Lady Paramount prize.

It was a great day out enjoyed by all. Many thanks to www.merdonbowmen.org.uk for hosting the tournament and their very warm welcome. Just shows you're never too old to have a good time shooting arrows.
